Our story
Ouro started in a warehouse. We’re Retro Whale, a Vancouver recommerce operation selling retro games, consoles and collectibles.
Second-hand stock breaks the tools built for new goods. There is no SKU with a hundred units behind it — there is one copy of one game, loose or complete in box, in a condition somebody has to judge and price. Multiply that by several hundred items and two marketplaces and you spend your week copying between dashboards instead of selling.
So we built Ouro Hub for ourselves: one catalogue, one condition grade per item, and sync that pushes price and stock out and pulls orders back. Then we added Ouro Direct, because selling only on marketplaces means renting your customers.
It runs our own shop every day, and it’s now open to other sellers in a private beta.

Free has no monthly cost: unlimited sales on your ouro.direct storefront at 10% per sale, and syncing for up to 10 items and 50 sales a month on eBay and Best Buy. Paid plans (Egg, Snake and Ouroboros) remove the sync limits and lower the storefront fee to 8%, 6% or 4%.
